People Saving Animals is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable organization incorporated in 2013. We are a small group of volunteers on a mission to help homeless animals in great need in less fortunate nations in Central America. We are 100% volunteer-based. We have no overhead, do not pay salaries, nor do we have an office or a shelter.
Instead, we partner with a select group of not-for-profit organizations that are the true heroes. They rescue homeless animals from impossible situations and they shelter them until some are rehomed. Others focus on sterilization to prevent homelessness.
Our focus is on raising funds from kind people like you to help these animals. Then we distribute those funds securely and transparently to ensure 100% of the funds we raise from you - our donors - get to the animals in need.
A typical case involves a homeless dog being run over by a car and left for dead on the street. Once an animal is rescued and properly treated by a veterinary team, we raise the funds to help cover the bill.
We provide our donors with updates along the way and follow through the recovery process until there is hopefully an adoption!
One of our non-profit partners in Guatemala shelters approximately 400 dogs and cats at any moment with very limited resources.
Via a monthly sponsorship, you can support these animals by helping cover basic food and medical needs. We will provide regular email updates and images to you, our kind sponsors.
Preventing suffering is better than treating suffering. Therefore we focus a good part of our efforts on supporting sterilization clinics.
One of our brave partners ventures into remote, poor, and sometimes dangerous parts of Guatemala to sterilize homeless animals. Donors get a full report with images of these clinics.
We are properly registered as a corporation in the states of Washington and Oregon. We are also officially recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable organization. For USA donors, your donations are therefore tax deductible.
We believe in the power of showing the positive impact of your generous monetary donations. Therefore, we put a lot of effort into providing our donors with updates via email and social media on the animals they have helped.
We work in less fortunate nations in Central America where a dollar goes a long way. Since 100% of your donation goes to the animals, its impact is higher.
